Precedent for Presidents
Hi guys, We are a country of laws built on precedent, if Trump were to be found not guilty what would this mean going forward for the presidency and classified documents? I can't help but feel we are opening the door for problems down the line with such black and white crimes and the only defense is "it's political". If you're not on either team I don't get this argument. If the argument is there's a double standard, I agree if anyone other than Trump an elite did the crime they would be in jail.

Your Peter Turchin interview was really excellent. Your questions got to the core components of his analysis and helped to make the complex and difficult to conceptualize parts more understandable for the audience. That, and it's just an interesting topic and book. Great job Marshall.
Threads - Meta's Twitter Alternative
Hi Guys, Meta is set to release their new Twitter like service called threads. I am with Marshall in being a reels watcher, and with this being an add-on for Instagram will it be more similar to Twitter and Vine? The timing feels ideal as the rate limit news is spreading. In general how do you feel about Twitter as of the time answering? I can't help but feel the centralization is dissipating and people will be using services to post the same thing to multiple sites again
